Fitness smartwatches are starting to become increasingly popular. Both fitness and smart devices are being used more and more. Samsung did release a couple of models during the years. The most successful model remains the Galaxy Watch.
Samsung also launched the Cheap Gear Fit 2 and 2 Pro, but they weren’t the best ones on the market as there were plenty of competitors. If we take a look at the Gear Fit 2 we can see that the watch came packed with all the necessary functions. It also had modes for training, running, cycling and many others.
Some reports seem to indicate that Samsung might release a new fitness smartwatch this year. It appears that 2019 will be a big year for the company, as many other big releases are planned as well, including Samsung’s foldable phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Sports Smartwatch was leaked and the codename used for it is “Pulse”. The model number of this device is SM-R500. When it comes to specs, it is speculated that it would come with Samsung’s Super AMOLED Display and 4 GB of RAM. It is believed that the Galaxy Sport will be released in the first quarter of 2019 as the FCC Certification was already cleared.
However, that is not all. It appears that the Gear Fit E smartwatch might be unveiled as well. The watch should come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and a Super AMOLED Display. The model number of the device is SM-R375 and it already passed the Bluetooth certification. The device is expected to come with 4 GB of internal storage, a 200 Mah battery and a lower price than the one of the Galaxy Sport.
