One of the things that separates the developers who are in charge of the Final Fantasy franchise is the fact that they are willing to take their time in order to create a fun game instead of rushing the launch date only to make money. This is why Final Fantasy XV took ten years to develop! Considering that Final Fantasy XV has been out for more than two years now, we think it’s safe to say that the developers have already started working on Final Fantasy XVI.
Final Fantasy XVI
As previously mentioned, Final Fantasy XV launched two years ago and the game was really successful. Therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that the developers who are in charge of the Final Fantasy franchise are already working on the new game. Even though the developers have yet to announce any details about Final Fantasy XVI, we can take a look at the fan community forums for the game franchise in order to find out what we can expect from the next Final Fantasy installment.
Massive Open World
The feature that made Final Fantasy XV stand out from all other titles was its open world environment. The massive world is also the reason why the developers needed a decade to create Final Fantasy XV and truth be told, the waiting was worth it.
The open world environment of Final Fantasy XV was one of the best features that the game had to offer and this is why we can be more than sure that Final Fantasy XVI will feature an even bigger open world environment.
Complex Character Design
The second feature that we can be sure Final Fantasy XVI will have to offer is complex character design. The characters in Final Fantasy XV were designed so well that players would often start caring about them until the game’s story was over. Therefore, Noctis and his friends are surely going to make a comeback in Final Fantasy XVI.
