This year’s E3 is going to be awesome, and we have CD Projekt Red to thank for, among other developers like From Software, Bethesda, Square Enix, Nintendo and more. Now let’s go back to CD Projekt Red and their highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
Here is what we will get to see and what will be missing at E3 2019.
Cyberpunk 2077 – Confirmed at E3 2019
The first gameplay demo of Cyberpunk 2077 debuted in 2018 after it was first announced in 2012 and then teased in a CGI trailer back in 2013. We would say that after seven years, CD Projekt Red is close to getting the game finished.
While we know a lot about Cyberpunk 2077 after nearly one hour of gameplay reveal from last year’s Gamescom, we cannot wait to see more of it at E3.
CD Projekt Red said about the last demo from 2018 that the game was still a work in progress, but would it be ready this year? We will have to wait and learn more at E3, but until then, here is what the devs have confirmed for the event.
New Gameplay Reveal!
There will be new gameplay reveal in the public zone – and not just for the media, but Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be playable at the event.
In a blog post, Adam Kiciński, the CEO of CD Projekt said that they want to be “even more prominent in Los Angeles than we were last year,” adding that this year is “shaping up to be the most important fair in CD Projekt’s history.” It could only mean that we’ll get to finally learn about the game’s release date.
As Gamespot noted in its article, Cyberpunk 2077 might be released in 2020 “as a nod the Cyberpunk 2020 pen-and-paper game.” We can only hope for the best and cannot wait to see more of it at E3!
