You can now join Windows Insiders, a program that features the live release of Microsoft’s Window 10 May 2019 Update. Windows Insiders are testing the beta builds of the new Windows 10 features. After Microsoft has pushed build 18362.30 into the Release Preview ring, a feature stable build is waiting for us. Moreover, the May 2019 Update, named 19H1, is being pushed to PC users in late May, because Microsoft has extended its final beta with one month. After the October 2019 Update which has caused some problems, Microsoft thinks that the May 2019 Update is complete and with no bugs what so ever.
What Can a Windows Insider Do?
If you are a Windows Insider, Microsoft is making the new update available to users; they call them “seekers.” Microsoft is declaring that the May 2019 Update is working only with those Insiders that are in the Release Preview Ring. But users that are on Fast Ring could do it too. So, go and click the Update Now button from the Setting-Update &Security-Windows Update menu.
However, if you aren’t part of the Insider program, you can still join. Click on Settings-Update & Security- Windows Update menu, and then click Get Started. Also, you are required to pick a ring to join the program. If your wish is only for the stable May 2019 Update, select Just fixes, apps and drivers. After that, you will need to approve some Terms & Conditions and to finish, reboot your computer. The update will take around 22 minutes after Microsoft declarations.
What Changes Should You Expect from the New May 2019 Update?
We haven’t found some drastic changes on this update, but there are indeed some new features, such as Windows Sandbox and the kaomoji emoji.
Until then, you can try Microsoft Window’s 10 Update as a Windows Insider, or wait a little bit until May to get your hands on it.
