We’re more than ready for E3 and cannot wait to see all the surprises from Ubisoft, especially since they said that they have 3 AAA games ready to be announced.
Ubisoft’s franchises – Just Dance, For Honor, Rainbow Six, and The Division should be featured at #UBIE3 conference. Considering Ghost Recon Breakpoint gets released this October 4, we’ll surely see it presented at the conference.
What’s really exciting is the three AAA games that would come out before 2020 as the company recently stated in their financial target for 2019-2020. According to that information, the earnings should be led by Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the other three AAA titles.
What could those games be? IGN’s Jordan Sirani keeps his fingers crossed for a new Splinter Cell title, and looks forward to seeing some Nintendo Switch games on Ubisoft’s stage, a trend we’ve all seen in the past E3s.
Now the good news for Watch Dogs Legion!
After Watch Dogs Legion was rumored and saw a couple of leaks, Ubisoft finally confirmed that it would be at the show in a Tweet from the official Watch Dogs Legion Twitter account:
“God Save the NPCs. Reveal at E3. #WatchDogLegion #UbiE3.”
The Bad News for Skull & Bones, Assassin’s Creed, and Beyond Good and Evil 2
Here’s what we won’t see at Ubisoft’s E3 conference.
Skull and Bones: the team shared on Twitter (source) that they will have to delay the game’s arrival to make the game “awesome as it can be!”
Beyond Good and Evil 2: the dev team is focusing “on core development milestones,” and won’t show up at E3. But we did get the BGE2 livestream yesterday, where we saw hybrid monkey clones and a space pirate lair. The game is in pre-alpha, which means we’ll have to wait a few more years to see it released.
A next Assassin’s Creed won’t be teased this year at E3, Ubisoft focusing on the release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s DLC. In The Division 2, we did see an Easter Egg that pointed toward the theme of the next Assassin’s Creed title to revolve around Vikings. We’ll probably see it next year at E3 2020, though, so it will surely not be one of those 3 AAA unannounced games after all.
Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference will start on Monday, June 10th at 12.30 p.m. PT (3.30 p.m. ET / 8.30 p.m. BST).
